It hasn’t been long since my return to professional wrestling, and it certainly didn’t take long for some brat to get in my way at every possible chance. Over the past month Jose Legado seems to have taken my rejection a little too hard and has tried to fuck on me every week, disguising every attack and tactic as a “lesson”. Obviously, I’m in need of no such things. I’m not some green rookie just getting into the business, I started wrestling decades ago, and not only that but Jose has a protege with him yet he’d much rather focus his entire attention on me. I think everyone can see why that is, everyone but Arturo Cabello. Kid, I understand you’re young but really, how stupid can you be? Do you not realize the only reason Jose is around you is to get back at me. He was never interested in you, do you know who the first person he approached was? Me. Matt Miles wasn’t throwing me a bone or anything pitiful like that, Legado just wanted to get in contact with me, so he went to him. And after I said no, did he offer you his services? No, you went to him. And he only said yes so he could use you against me, something that has very clearly not worked out so far. I mean, do you really think the remarkable one would willingly team up with a specialist in failure?

Maybe the reason you annoy me so much is that you remind me of myself ten years ago, just a shittier version without any of the success. I was arrogant, I was obnoxious, I was a pain in the ass to everyone involved, but I won matches. I won championships. I had a little help, sure. But it was the right help, Jose will never lead you in the correct path, most likely he will throw you away after you disappoint him yet again on Sunday. And you can make fun of the fact my company shut down shortly after I won the World Championship, it doesn’t change the fact at your very age I saw more success than you ever will in your entire career. You’re trash, Cabello. You were the first person APEX fans heard, you had the first entrance in the company’s history. It wasn’t just Matt Miles, everyone here had high expectations of you. And what have you done apart from twerking for Jose Legado at every possible chance? Honestly, what did you even leave Mexico for?

But this isn’t just about us two, this is a tag team match up, and I’ll let you know right away my tag record is spectacular. I’ve had many tag partners during my career and I’m proud to say, despite it being our first time together, Kevin Maverick ranks among the best. We have both beaten one of you in singles competition, so despite this really being more a two on three match, I don’t think we’ll have much to worry about. We don’t share some deep bond or anything like that, but I like to think we respect each other and we share the same objective on Sunday. Something I don’t think the two of you even have in common.

Which brings me to Jessie B. Now, I actually have a bit of respect for him. He’s a self-made man and runs his self-proclaimed profitable business, and he still finds time to come out and here and give everyone a good show. But despite being a good wrestler, his heart doesn’t lie with this sport, it lies with his hoes. Which is one of the reasons I rate our chances to win this match. Cabello is desperately trying to impress his manager, and Jessie B. is just having a good time while his hoes are out working. You’re not on the same page, we are.

This Sunday I will be the one handing a lesson to Cabello. Don’t punch above your weight. You might think yourself the next big thing, destined for greatness, and the best young talent in wrestling. That’s all in your head. You may talk the talk, but you can’t walk the walk. Week after week you come up short. How many losses is it going to take Cabello? Maybe this one will finally make you understand that you don't belong in the ring with me. I’ve been nothing but respectful to everyone in this company ever since I got here, but I’m making a very special exception for you. If you like digging up history so much, then maybe you should experience some yourself, courtesy of yours truly. When I’m done with you, the only thing buried will be your pride. I will humble you. I will humiliate you. I’m going to make all those falls you took during our ladder match feel like training bumps. Basically, I’m going to fuck you up in front of your adopted papi Jose. Do you think he will enjoy the show? As I tear you limb by limb? And when he walks out on you in shame, when your partner Jessie B. leaves you for dead. Just then will you feel like what you truly are.
