ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The opening guitar strums to ‘Cancion del Mariachi' by Los Lobos begins to play on the P.A. System as a smug Arturo Cabello makes his way onto the stage in a pair of expensive, especially designed peacock-feathered tights, smirking as his eyes scan the raucous crowd. He stands proud in the middle of the stage to flaunt his physique before strutting down the ramp, bobbing his head to his entrance music, and making his way into the ring so that he can prop himself up in the corner and “peacock” for his admirers to take their photos.

GIMMICK DESCRIPTION
The nickname “El Pavo Real” literally means “The Peacock” and that’s exactly what he sees himself as. He’s smug, handsome and braggadocious.
CHARACTER HISTORY/BACKSTORY
A former musician and protegé of legendary Mexican wrestler Platino, Arturo Cabello first came to fame as Platino Jr. and found much success competing in his home country of Mexico. Arturo was vain, however, and felt that his beautiful face was no use hidden behind a mask and, after winning a mask vs mask match vs his former mentor, Cabello not only unmasked the original Platino but himself as well. He denounced the Mexican fans for making him feel like he had cover his face and now makes his way to the United States where he hopes his talents — both musical and athletic — will be better respected… though he has no intentions of doing them the same honour.
