At any given moment, he is plotting and scheming his next move, perceiving any possible outcome in order to manipulate it in his favor

The lights go dark, as The Strength of Strings hits the sound system. However, as the music plays on, a demonic light illuminates the stage as a thick moor-like fog rolls across the stage.

As the lyrics begin, we see a figure emerge on the stage… Rafael Barrera. Barrera is clad in a black priest cassock, with deep red filigree around the arms and collar. The cassock is open to reveal matching gear underneath. As he approaches the center of the stage, Barrera takes a look around at the crowd.

“From Manhattan, New York… weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds… he is “El Jinete Pálido” Rafael Barrrrrrrrreeeerrrrrraaaaa!!!”

After a few moments, Barrera makes his way down the ramp towards the stage, his eyes fixated on the ring, and his opponent. As he reaches the foot of the ramp, Barrera steps forward and quickly slides into the ring. He gives his opponent a once over before climbing to the top of his corner’s turnbuckle and doubles over. After a couple of beats, Barrera raises up extrending out his arms as an evil aura completely engulfs the entirety of the arena. After a few seconds, He drops down and turns around to look directly at his opponent before taking his cassock off, handing it to a ring tech as he waits for the bell to sound.

1. CLAVO FINAL
This Diving Fist Drop is a testament to Rafael’s old school nature and upbringing. He will leap from the top rope and aim for his downed opponent’s eye.

2. HAVANA SUNSET
This sunset flip double knee backbreaker can typically be done either as raf rebounds from being whipped into the eropes, or diving front eh second turnbuckle; having the ability to win the match for Raf.

3. GRIM REMINDER
Seen typically later in one of his matches, this Reverse Russian Legsweep is performed by Raf as the set up for Vibora Palida. If the opponent is able to escape and flip over, before Raf can transition into the submission however, he will go for a cover, but typically Raf will immediately go for the submission.

4. MISERIA KICK
This springboard roundhouse kick is one of Raf’s tried and true maneuvers, whenever Raf finds himself running towards the ropes he will leap onto them and use the momentum to send his boot into his opponent’s face.

5. TWO COINS FOR THE FERRYMAN
Typically preceding a snapmare, ushigorishi or other similar maneuvers to position his opponent in an seated position, Raf will charge past them and rebound to deliver this running Meteora to a downed opponent.

Finishing Moves: Maximum three (3) and one (1) optional ultra-finisher (UF)
1. SANTA MUERTE
This is the move that made Rafael a legend in Lucha Libre, and has made him a threat throughout all of ALPHA Wrestling. He typically will set up this Muscle Buster from the corner, but if he is bigger than his opponent, he will deliver it from a vertical suplex.

2. VÍBORA PÁLIDA
When Rafael cannot get his opponent up for Santa Muerte from either set up, or to teach a lesson to an opponent he deems insolent enough to warrant one, he will work toward locking his opponent into his version of the Rings of Saturn.

UF. SANTÍSIMA MUERTE
It is not every day that Rafael will use this maneuver, but when someone is deemed worthy of “Most Holy Death”, he will comply with fate’s demands. This variation of the Santa Muerte Muscle Buster, does not see Raf fall backwards like normal, instead Raf drops to a seated position, making the point of impact on his opponent’s neck and shoulder more severe. This is a match ender, no ifs ands, or buts. Due to this move’s rarity and severity of the move, should Raf hit this, under no circumstances will someone kick out.
